CULTIMER: multipurpose tool with tines

A single tool for surface stubble ploughing and loosening

Its versatility comes from combining 3 tools: tines, discs and roller.

The tines (3 rows on mounted models and 4 rows on drawn models) provide soil breaking up, crumbling, intensive mixing and surface levelling in a single passage.
	The incurved shape of the tines promotes soil-residue mixing. The large deflector increases the soil turning effect and facilitates evacuation of residues.
	The tines are equipped with fins for surface stubble ploughing after harvest, so that the whole surface of the soil is tilled.
	Without fins, the 80 mm point can be used to work down to 30 cm to restructure the lower horizons and prepare the soil for seeding in no-till schemes.
	Tine safety is ensured by a large cross-section double spring which prevents any accidental slipping.
	There is large clearance under the chassis (84 cm) so that work can continue even with dense plant residues. The spacing of tines on the row (90 cm) reduces the risk of clogging.

- The levelling discs are part of the roller support and do not need any particular adjustment when changing the working depth. They help leave the surface flat after passage of the tines.

- The roller controls the working depth of the tines and helps tamp the soil. The working depth is adjusted by positioning a pin. Depending on the working conditions and degree of tamping required, two types of roller are available: Tube (Ø 550 mm) or T-Ring (Ø 600 mm), characterised by its aggressivity and action on straw to help break it down.

	Mounted models with 3 to 5 m working width.
	Trailed models of 6.5 m (on exhibition at AGRITECHNICA) and 8 m.
